Octavian, 44-27 BC. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.85 g, 6 h), mint in Northern Italy or travelling with Octavian in Illyricum, 35-34. Bare head of Octavian to right. Rev. IMP / CAE-SAR / DIVI•F Large and decorated round shield with central boss. BMC 309. Cohen 126. RIC 543a. Nicely toned. The obverse struck slightly off center and with a few banker's marks on the reverse, otherwise, fine.
